SK 02 SW 2/6A Barn to south east of Wolseley Arms II 2.
Barn, now shops C17, restored and re-sited c. 1986. Timber framing with brick nogging, on a coursed rubble stone plinth, with a plain tile roof. 3 bays. Box framing of square panels with angle struts, and principal roof trusses with tie- beam and queen struts, plus clasped purling and wind braces below purlins. 'Central bay open on east and west with large double plank doors. Bays separated internally by large raking struts to upper rail of wall-frame. Lean-to additions of stone and brick to west side of barn. This building was moved from Parchfield Farm, Colton Road, Colton. Wolseley Arms, mentioned in the address, is not a listed building.
