TQ2488 WILLIFIELD WAY 31-0/26/10295 (South West side) Hampstead Garden Suburb Nos.131 AND 133 GV II

Pair of houses. 1910. Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin. Red brick in Flemish bond; roof of tile with axial ridge stack on party wall. Two storeys, and two-window range. Rectangular in plan with narrow single-storey rear wings at either end. Vernacular Revival. Flat-arched entrance to each unit on returns, under bracket porches; each flanked by a pair of windows. Segmental-arched openings on main elevation to ground floor; on axis with gable-headed half dormers above, weatherboarded; segmental-arched windows to first floor on each return. All casement windows of an original design. Forms part of group which consists of Nos. 113, 123-133 (odd), 126-156 (even) Willifield Way (q.v.) and Nos. 38, 40 and 42 Asmuns Hill, even (q.v.).
