Extends between two flanking wings. Lante C28 wrought iron screen of spearhead rails, inversted curved top rails, flanking central gate of 2 panels of double pointed (arrow head) bard and central rails with line of cirles between, inverted curved head with quadrant radiating and wreathed treatment, in heavy quare bar frame curved over with series of single scrolls each side at upper part and supporting octagonal central lamp with cresting.
Nos 18, 37, 43, 45 and all the listed buildings on the couth-east side from Nos 19 to 46 (consec) (including wrought iron screen before Vernon House), form a group.
