Limestone dispatch building used to load burnt lime from kilns onto mule-drawn wagons, now a house. c.1797 for Samuel Oldknow. Dressed stone with slate roof. 5 x 2 bays with 1 storey at front and 2 at rear (plus attic), lean-to against left gable and C20 extension against right. Doorways with rusticated surrounds to bay 4 (now blocked) and 1. Ashlar square-cut surrounds to windows in other bays. Bays 2, 3 and 4 are slightly advanced and 2 and 4 have gabled dormer windows. 3 ridge chimney stacks. 6 semi-circular arched cart entries to rear at lower level (now glazed). Stone first floor band and 5 windows with square-cut surrounds.
