ST4817 STOKE SUB HAMDON CP EAST STOKE (South side) 7/296 Langfield monument in churchyard, about 4 metres south-east of chancel, Church of St. Mary the Virgin GV II Chest tomb. C19. Ham stone, Plinth buried; fielded panels, one to each end and flank, with 3-panel pilasters to flanks, no frieze; moulded coving to hipped top with rounded leading edges. Commemorates Silvester Langfield, died 1808.
