7/207 Ridgeway Farm House
II
House. C16 with C17 extensions and C20 restoration, possibly around an earlier core. Timber framed on sandstone and brick plinths with sandstone rubble infill to rear wing and jowled main posts. Sandstone rubble cladding below to front and rear, red brick and some tile hanging above. Plain tiled roof, hipped with gablet to left, half-hipped to right. T-shaped plan with wing at right angles to rear and small single storey extension at right angles to right. Two storeys with deep eaves to front and stacks to rear. Two leaded casement windows to first floor and two larger windows below. Central gabled porch on sandstone plinth with rendered upper walls and tile hung gable. Door now to right, set back in re-entrant angle with wing in polygonal porch. Rear wing - with 4-light wood mullioned window. Ogee bracing to first floor left.
