9/155 Shaftowes 12/9/72 II
Cottage. C17, extended to right in C20. Timber framed, clad in brown brick below and tile hung above. Sandstone block on brick plinth with ironstone galleting to gable end. Brick extensions and plain tiled roofs, hipped to right. Two storeys with gable end to street, single storey on extension. Stack on gable end and further stack to rear. One window on first floor right hand return front, and one window on ground floor. Part glazed door in pentice end of rear extension. Two windows to first and ground floors and one plank door to left of centre. Frame exposed inside.
