Details
NZ 1055 CONSETT RIVER DERWENT 17/75 Ebchester Bridge 6/6/51 II Bridge. Dated 1862 on inner face of parapet. Rock-faced sandstone. 3 round arches, the central higher, with steeply-coped pointed cutwaters between, support high-centred road with bed-level band; parapet has chamfered coping continuous with that of rectangular end piers; and sweeps out at ends. Formerly carried main road but now a footbridge. Partly in the parish of Shotley Low Quarter, Northumberland.
