HUNGATE 1. 5340 (North Side) Pickering United Reformed (Congregational) Church SE 7983 1/254 II GV 2. 1867 front elevation to building of 1789, enlarged 1814, Front elevation in white brick with ashlar dressings has gable to road with cornice and ornamental circular window. Rusticated stone quoins. lst floor has 2 glazed lancet windows and 1 window of 3 lancet lights. Moulded string at cills. Ground floor has 2 segmental-headed windows with stone keystones and arched doorway with door of 4 fielded panels. Rear is basically of 1789, in coursed stone and red brick, with arched windows with Gothic glazing. Early C19 porch on columns with door of 6 fielded panels.
Nos 29 to 31 (consec) Pickering United Reformed Church, Railings and gates in courtyard Nos 33 to 47 (consec) and Nos 49 to 52 (consec) form a group.
