Row of four Bowood estate cottages, late C18 or early C19 originally, Nos 12 and 13 made picturesque c1850. Rubble stone with Bridgwater tile roofs, 2 ridge stacks and south end stack, the alterations of c1850 in half-timber infilled with squared rubble stone. Nos 10 and 11 have 2-storey, 4-window front of casement windows in brick surrounds, 4 casement pairs above, 2 triple casements and doors each side below. Tiled verandah on timber posts, with open gable to centre and smaller gables in front of each door. No 12 and part of No 13 have built-out embellishment in stone and half-timber with leaded windows. To right, stone ground floor with 4-light window, jettied, timbered upper floor with barge boarded dormer gable over eaves-breaking casement pair. To left projecting principal gable, barge boarded and half-timbered over open ground floor with timber posts and doors to Nos 12 and 13 within. Casement pair to upper floor. Door to No 13 and range to left with casement pair and upper c1850 barge boarded dormer are at original front wall line.
