LEASINGHAM LINCOLN ROAD TF 04 NE (east side) 8/39 No 10 (The Old House) 23.11.51 - II House. 1655 restored C20. Coursed and banded limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. C20 pantile roof, With ashlar coped gables and a large double moulded ashlar stack. Ashlar quoins. 3 bay, lobby entry plan. 2 storey plus attics. Off-centre doorway, with C20 half-glazed door, in roll moulded ashlar surround with flat moulded hood. Either side are single 3 light, ovolo moulded mullion windows with flat moulded hoods, and to the left a single similar 2 light window. Above the door a 2 light window, flanked by 3 light windows with to the left another 2 light windows, all with ovolo moulded mullions and flat moulded hoods. Above again over the door, a large dormer window, with ashlar coped gable and a 2 light ovolo mullion window with a flat hood, with above a shield inscribed 'K.B.E 1655'. The single bay, gable south front, has a 3 light ovolo mullion window to each storey, with a 2 light ovolo mullion window to the attic, all with flat moulded hoods.
