Late Cl8. 3 storeys and basement in brown brick. Slate roof. Parapet
and cornice. Stone rusticated quoins. 5 double-hung sash windows, glazing
bars to No 19. One gabled dormer to No 18, one flat topped dormer to No
19. Stone band at ground floor level above basement. Basement window to
No 19 with flush frame. No 18 has C19 canted wood and brick bay window.
Central paired doorways with panelled pilasters, under common steep pediment
with semi-circular fanlight originally filled with Gothic glazing bars,
now only surviving in blind centre. Steps with railings to doors. NMR.
Nos 1 to 25 (censec). Gardens Wall and Gatepiers form a group.
