Farmhouse. C17 (VCH) with early C19 rear wing. Timber framed: square framing with whitewashed brick infill; colourwashed brick plinth. Old tile roof; brick ridge stack. 4-unit lobby entry plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. Plank door with moulded wood surround and hood on shaped brackets. C19 casements with glazing bars. Oriel window with 4-pane sash. 4 roof dormers. Right return side has jowled posts and truncated external brick stack. Left return side faced in mid C20 brick. Roughcast early C19 range beyond has segmental bay window with 24-pane sash, pilaster strips and fascia. Late C19 oriel above. To rear: Exposed framing. Wing of brick. Entrance in re-entrant angle has flat 6-panelled part-glazed door with ,hood,,on shaped brackets. Canted bay window, Interior: Exposed framing. Broad-chamfered cross beams and blocked inglenook fireplace. Early C19 dog-leg staircase with moulded string. Old plank doors. Extending from rear at right angles in a timber-framed single-storey outbuilding, (V.C.H.: Warwickshire, Vol.III, p.87).
