Barn with attached stable. Probably C17; stable C18. Coursed squared sandstone with quoins, roofs of asbestos slate (barn) and stone slate.

Barn: five-bay plan with aisles on east side, opposed wagon entrances to fourth bay (from south end), that on east side with roof carried over between aisles, that on west side with segmental-headed archway; porch on east side has cambered lintel to wagon doorway, and a doorway into each aisle, both with large rectangular lintels; left aisle has blocked window to first bay. South gable has circular pitching hole. (Lower addition at this end, not included in the item). North gable wall has external stone steps to loft over stable.

Stable: set back at north end, two storeys and three bays, has wide square-headed doorway in the centre, with plain surround, two square windows at ground floor, loft door and similar window at first floor.

Interior: barn has three-bay aisle arcade with posts of large scantling, braces to the tie-beams and to the aisle-plate, which is scarf-jointed; king-post roof trusses with curved principals and Y-struts; 5th bay is laterally-arranged byre. Stable has original stalls with mangers.
