Theatre, now bingo hall. 1899 by JP Briggs. Brick with a painted stucco facade, and slate roof. Curved 3 storey main front to south. Ground floor articulated with paired Doric pilasters with round arched double doorways between, only the left section visible, the remainder of the facade is obscured by a single storey late C20 addition. Above a projecting balcony runs the whole length of the facade, with ornate iron railings. The upper 2 stories are articulated with giant, paired fluted Ionic pilasters. The central pair flanking a round arch with niche, eitherside are single broader arches each with a segment headed window. Between the outer set are round headed, glazed double doors, with a small beyond at either end. The top floor has a central circular window flanked by 4 blind, round headed arches. Eitherside are 3 round headed windows with single flanking windows on either side. The whole facade topped by a deep entablature with balustraded parapet with finials, and a taller central panel with curved pediment. Interior; retains 2 curved galleries with seats and elaborately decorated fronts. Decorated plaster ceiling and proscenium arch to former stage, and classical panels eitherside of the former stage topped with pediments. The ground floor has been given a false flat floor. Though converted into a bingo hall it still retains many of its original theatre features.
