Farmhouse, now house. 1677, extended early C19, remodelled c1865. Rubble stone with ashlar dressings. Welsh slate roofs with coped gables and kneelers. 2 ashlar gable stacks. Cross-passage plan. Original house to right, 3 windows, has central doorway with moulded surround and decorated lintel inscribed 1677, and a 3 panel door. To the left a 3-light, and to the right a 2-light window with chamfered mullions and Tudor hood moulds. Above a single light window, flanked by 2-light windows, also with chamfered mullions. All these windows have 2-pane casements. Beyond upper left window a carved stone sundial and an ashlar plaque inscribed, THOMAS ROBSON Draper Licensed Dealer in tea coffee snuff and tobacco Early C19 wing to left, altered C20, 3 windows. To left a C20 3-light mullion window in a former cart shed opening, and to the right a 2-light mullion window. Interior retains its 2 bay cross passage plan, and a large C17 stone fireplace with moulded stone hood. Simple collar purlin roof with substantial principal rafters, some timbers replaced.
