Road bridge. Early C19, C20 alterations. Stone and brick. Single elliptical arch
with keystone, band, solid parapet and piers, with stone coping. Some brickwork inside
arch. Towpath retaining wall with concrete coping and iron hand rails. The Kennet
and Avon Canal was constructed between 1794-1810. John Rennie was principal engineer.
