2. A Cl8 brick house with stopped gables at the north and south ends and C19 Smithy at the rear, on Willow Walk. Renovated and restored in the C20. It occupies an important position at the point where the narrow street of Waterside opens up to the south. 2 storeys and attics. 5 window range (1 blocked on the first and one blocked on the second storey) and 1 window range on the south side, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in flush cased frames, with segmental heads. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. The doorway is C20. (simple Cl8 style). Roof tiled (old Cambridgeshire tiles), with 3 hipped dorwev@.

No 31 and 33 (The Smithy Craft Studio). Nos 35 to41 (consec), Nos 43 to 47 (odd) Nos 51 to 53 (consec), Malthouse adjoining No 53, No 55 and the house adjoining No 55 and Quayside House form a group with Nos 54 to 64 (even), Quayside.
