Archway forming the North side of a bridge. Dated 1824. Low cast iron segmental archway standing on rubble abutments;
emphasised spandrels; set above intrados raised lettering:- "R DOWN 1824 B. WATER". Substantial cast iron railings set
above on 3 projecting scrolled brackets, short section of rubble wall to each side. The remainder of the bridge to the
South is much altered and is therefore not included. Practically complete survival of the Northern side of an
attractive bridge.
