The oldest are the northern ranges. These comprise 8 parallel ranges.
The west end of these is dated 1823, the remainder may be older. The 3
westernmost ranges are of 2 storeys and built of red brick, tarred on the
south side, with a tiled roof in 3 hips. A stone is inscribed "SF 1823".
The other 5 ranges are of brick on the ground floor and weatherboarding
above, all tarred. The 2 centre ranges are of 4 storeys the 2 upper storeys
faced with tarred weatherboarding with 2 gables. Tiled roofs.
The next group is mid C19 the east half dated 1859. 3 storeys, red brick.
Eaves cornice, hipped slate roof. 2 round headed windows each on the 1st
floor, on the north, south and east sides and 3 loft doors each on the
2nd floor. Over one of the windows on the north front is "Vidler and Sons"
1859. Tile west half is similar except that the 1st and 2nd floors are
faced with tarred weatherboarding. Curved north-west corne.
The next building (west of the Ship Inn) is also mid C19. 3 parallel ranges.
The north and central ranges are of 2 storeys. Red brick on a cemented
base with half-hipped gable ends of tarred weather boarding The south
range is of 3 storeys faced with tarred weatherboarding above the ground
floor. Tiled roof. The southernmost building, formerly a corn mill, is
also mid C19. 2 parallel ranges. 3 storeys, 3 windows. Sandstone masonry
is heavily eroded. Slate roof.

Premises at corner of The Strand and Wish Ward, The Ship Inn, Warehouses or
Granaries and No 15 Wish Ward form a group.
