MANSFIELD WOODHOUSE CHURCH STREET SK 5463 SW (west side) 7/28 Boundary wall adjoining No.11 and No.12 to south G.V. II Boundary wall and gateways. C18. Coursed squared rubble and dressed stone. Flat stone coping. Ashlar dressings. To left, incurve to pair of square rustic gatepiers with plinths and concave domed caps. Pair of plain C20 timber gates. To right, Classical style gateway with pilasters, paterae, open pediment and rubble-filled tympanum. Pair of C19 wire and fretwork doors. To right again, plain ashlar doorway. Beyond, blocked window with projecting architrave. To west, similar adjoining wall with ramped ashlar coping. Approx. 50M and 12M long. Included for group value only.
