Farmhouse and attached barn. Late C17 with late C18 alterations and
additions. Coursed stone with ashlar dressings and stone slate roofs.
Coped gables with kneelers. 2 storey. Farmhouse, south front, has
a 3-light chamfered mullion window, partly blocked with to the right
a former 5-light chamfered mullion window, partly blocked with 2
missing mullioins, under continuous chamfered hood mould. Eitherside
are single doorways in chamfered ashlar surrounds. Barn to left, has
central large cart entrance with segmental head, with to the left a
former 3-light flush mullion window now blocked and beyond a doorway,
to the right a further doorway with ashlar surround, above a former
2-light flush mullion window. Rear facade, has to the farmhouse, 2
lower windows with ashlar surrounds and to the left a small blocked
chamfered opening, above 2 larger window openings. Barn rear facade,
slightly set back a small single opening with to right a tall
chamfered opening, now blocked and to the left a small chamfered
opening, also blocked. Above a loft opening. Interior retains
chamfered spine beams, and 2 flush ashlar chimney pieces in the
farmhouse. Queen post roof structure survives throughout.
