2. The front of the house facing the street dates from the late C18 or early C19 but the garden elevation of the house is late C17. The VCH states that the interior shows it to have been a timber framed C16 house originally and beneath it there are Cl3 vaulted cellars. Front elevation has 2 storeys and attic. 4 windows. 2 dormers. Yellow brick. Parapet. Glazing bars intact. Porch with Doric columns and wooden entablature. Rectangular fanlight and 6-panel moulded door. 5 stone Tudor fireplaces and Elizabethan panelling inside. The garden elevation of 3 storeys has ground floor window with late C17 transom and mullions and leaded casements. 1st floor, 1 double sash and 1 sash with margin lights. 2nd floor sash windows. Ground floor of red brick. Upper floors are tile hung. All windows have original glazing bars.

Nos 21 to 27 (consec) form a group.
