KEEVIL MAIN STREET ST 95 NW (off south sde) 7/144 Five monuments in the churchyard between 7 and 14 metres north east of chancel of Church of St Leonard GV II

Group of five chest tombs. Late C18 and early C19. Limestone. Three to members of Burridge family; south one has 2 octagonal panels, scrolled decoration, fielded pilasters; damaged by ivy, partly illegible inscription with date 1775. Next north is covered by ivy; 2 shield-shaped panels, on south side, inscription to Samuel Burridge died 1763; both tombs have flat tops. North of Burridge tombs is to Sarah died 1832; large inscription panel with fluted corner shafts, plain frieze and weathered top. Two tombs further west with illegible inscriptions; both with shield panels, fluted pilasters, north one with scrolled carving, moulded friezes to flat tops.
