AIREBOROUGH CHURCH STREET SE 14 SE LS 20 (south side) Guiseley 10A/44 Monumental slab - of Elizabeth Hoppay and adjacent stone coffin on south-west corner of junction of paths, approx. 3 metres south-west of porch of Church of St. Oswald GV II

Monumental slab dated 1658, and medieval stone coffin, placed side-by-side. Sandstone. Slab to Elizabeth Hoppay (1658), lettered in large crudely-formed capitals; with later addition to the inscription 1682. Stone coffin without a lid, hewn from a single block, tapering shape, with shouldered inside; presumably ex situ.
