House. Subdivided C20 into 4 flats. Late C16 or early C17 with extensions of
lace C19. 2 storeys, 3-cell plan; the cell to right is of cross-wing form.
Timber-framed and plastered. Hipped plaintiled roofs with C18 or C19 wooden
dentilled eaves cornice. C17 axial chimney of red brick. Various late C19
sashes and casements. At the rear are C19 extensions of red brick and of
flint with brick quoins, and pantiled roofs. At 1st floor level in the main
range, is a 2-bay chamber over the hall and a single-bay chamber, both with
complete exposed framing and evidence for unglazed windows. A large wing with
plaintiled roof was added in C19 to the west side of an original cross-wing.
