MORCHARD BISHOP PISSELTON LANE, Weeke SS 70 NE 5/180 Farm buildings and cob wall - approximately 10 metres north-east GV of South Weeke Farmhouse II
Farmbuildings including linhay, stables, barn and cart-shed. Late C18-early C19. Cob on rubble footings; corrugated iron roof (formerly thatch). 3 blocks of farmbuildings and connecting cob wall comprising a south-east facing range with linhay to right (north-east) and stables to left. Barn in crosswing on left end faces north-east. From left end of barn a high cob wall extends a short distance to meet rear of south-east facing cartshed. Linhay is 8 bays (Alcock's Type T1) with A-frame roof with pegged lap-jointed collars. Roof hipped on right end. The stables adjoining to left has roof at higher level and has door to left and unglazed 2-light window to right. Barn is larger still with large central doorway (now reduced in size). Right side has adjoining stables and unglazed 2-light window to left. Roof is hipped both ends. Cob wall to left has pitched pantile coping. Low cartshed has central doorway and roof is hipped each end. From left end another cob wall with pitched pantile coping extends forward (south-eastwards) alongside garden.
