GV II

House. c1800. Coursed squared gritstone, pantile roof with stone slate eaves course. 2 storeys, 3 bays with single-storey lean-to outshut to right. Quoins. Central 6-panel door in plain doorframe; flanking and first-floor windows with C20 casements. Side bays with 3-light windows, central 2-light window to first floor. All openings have flat arches made up of voussoirs. Shaped kneelers, gable copings, brick end stacks. Lean-to has a small window and gable coping with turned-back kneeler. Interior not inspected at resurvey but reported to have a Georgian plan of a narrow entrance hall with stairs opposite the door, 2 ground-floor living rooms and services originally in the lean-to, which is not original but was added by 1840.
