Pair of shops, with living accommodation over; dated 1898 on foundation stone between the bays of the right-hand return; by J. Garry. Brick with stone dressings and Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys and gabled attic storey to No. 127. No. 125: symmetrical, with contemporary shop front of paired sashes and ½-glazed door under cast iron ventilation grilles, framed by slightly- projecting ornately-moulded cast iron columns supporting corniced fascia and ornamental cast iron balcony railings. 4 windows to first floor and 3 round-headed to 2nd floor, all having plain surrounds and recessed under elliptical relieving arches. Stone cornice below parapet ramped at ends. No. 127: symmetrical, with altered shop front, framed as at No. 125. 3 timber mullioned-and-transomed windows to first and 2nd floors, recessed under elliptical relieving arches at 2nd floor, and separated by narrow ½-octagonal and ½-lozenge pilasters. 7 narrow pilasters to shaped attic gable framing 4 round-headed windows. Urn and ball finials. Right-hand return, of 2 gabled bays, is similar to principal front and has copper-domed turret at south-west angle. Interior of No. 125 includes contemporary ceramic wall tiles and meat rails.
