Details

ST BRIAVELS CHURCH STREET SO 50 SE (north side) 6/157 Unidentified monument in the churchyard c 7 metres south of the east wall of the chancel to the Church of St Mary GV II Chest tomb. Late C18. Sandstone. Flat top to chamfered edge, square quarter balusters and plain panels, base sunk and the monument leaning at time of survey, November 1983. A date 1799 discernible. One of a pair of unidentified monuments in this location, of which this is the most southerly, lying c 2.5 metres north of the Edward Dorrington monument (qv).
