HEWELSFIELD GENERAL SO 50 SE 6/26 Monument to ARTHUR PITCHER in the churchyard c2m south of nave wall of the church of St Mary Magdalen GV II Chest tomb. Mid C18. Sandstone. Pitched top with reserved corners to moulded edge, fielded panels with embellishment east and west ends, base sunk at time of survey, November 1983. Arthur Pitcher, 1770. The middle monument of a group of 3 lying close to the nave wall.
