2. An important early-mid C18 large 3 storey house. Red brick with roof of old tiles, gabled ends, moulded wood eaves cornice with modillions. Stone dressings, long and short quoins, moulded string course, rusticated window heads with keyblocks and stone sills; 5 sash windows in plain reveals. Good central entrance, 8 fielded panel door in moulded stone surround with pediment on consoles, entablature and triple keyblock over door. Garden elevation at rear has 2 storey segment and projection with 3-light 1st floor window in stone surround, arched at centre. Contemporary 2 storey symmetrical coach house and good walled garden. Interior has fine broad staircase, dado panelling and one room fully panelled.

Nos 42 to 64(even), 64A, 64B and Nos 66 to 92 (even) form a group.
