C16 or earlier range of timber framed buildings with C18 and C19 fronts. Two storeys, six windows in all. Main, five-window block has high pitched hipped gabled tiled roof with rebuilt chimney. Of this, the three-window right section (Ivy House) has tile hung first floor and painted brick ground floor. First floor modern casements with glazing bars. Ground floor has two shop windows, modern but with bars, one a canted bay between two half glazed doors. The left door has primitive vermiculate lintel and console bracketed cornice, the right one pilasters and modified entablature with canopy continued over shop window. Two-window left section (The Old Bakery) has C19 brick front with two sash windows on first floor. Ground floor C19 shop front with spiral twist columns and modillion cornice to window, panelled pilasters and cornice on fluted brackets to door. Lower, one-bay left section under tiled roof hipped at left. (Fig Tree Cottage). C19 brick front with sash windows on first floor, late C19 shop front on ground floor.

Eversley and Dilgerts, Darenth Cottage, Markwick, Nigel Coleman Antiques, No 5 Barton's Cottages, Nos 1 to 4 (consec), Barton's Cottages, Ivy House, The Old Bakery and Fig Tree Cottage form a group.
