Bible Christian chapel, enlarged to form dwelling. Dated 1889, undergoing enlargement at time of survey (April 1985).
Roughcast over rubble original building, roughcast addition, plinth, parallel range slate roofs with linking cross
range, overhanging eaves, plain bargeboards and shaped brackets to chapel. Plan: chapel with single storey porch right,
parallel range of addition left linked with attic. Two storeys, gable fronted, original wooden pointed arch windows to
chapel right, left segmental headed cast iron windows; chapel first floor 3 lancets, ground floor taller lancets
flankinq porch, pointed arch doorway; left first floor 2 windows, ground floor 3 with 3 bay left return, centre blind
with gabled dormer above. Date stone in right gable end 1889. The cast iron windows came from a demolished railway
station. A very sympathetic extension.
