GV II
Coachhouse, stables and barn. C17, extended and repaired C18 and mid C19. Red brick and plain tiled roofs, extended with brown brick. Coachhouse of 2 storeys with hipped roof and central projecting pedimented block, with 3 large buttresses and cupola over. One wooden casement on each floor and garage doors to right, and boarded loft door and stairs to left. Clockface in pediment. Gothick plaster arched doorways in interior. Stable range to rear of 1 storey with central gabled projection. Four half-doors and 4 wooden casements. Early C18 barn at north end completes the open courtyard. Half-hipped roof on wall of red brick in Header Bond with high plinth. Central hipped mid-strey. Interior: 4 bays with aisles and trussed rafter roof. Within the courtyard is a semi-circular ramped access way to the stables with a retaining wall rising to about 4 feet high at maximum.
