CRESSWELL CRESSWELL VILLAGE NZ 29 SE 8/11 Roadside wall from parish church to Old School House GV II
Wall with gateways, c.1836. Squared tooled stone. Wall with gabled coping; churchyard has low chamfered gate piers with moulded swept pyramidal caps, holding contemporary wrought-iron gate with broad upswept fleur-de-lys heads to bars and dogbars. Gateways to Church Cottages, Fenham House and Old School House (all q.v.) have simple monolithic gabled piers and renewed gates.
