HARLAXTON SK8832 HIGH STREET 1315-0/14/196 (East side) 24/09/79 No.73 Thorn Bell GV II

House. c1810, with porch probably added c1830. Brick with hipped slate roof and 2 brick ridge stacks. Deep rebated eaves. 2 storeys; 3 window range. Windows are Gothick style casements with pointed arched lights under brick segmental heads. Central 2-light window flanked by 3-light windows, all with leaded glazing. Central flat roofed square porch with round arched opening covering a 6-panel door with 2 glazed panels. On either side, a 3-light window with glazing bars. This building is probably one of those built by George de Ligne Gregory, Lord of the Manor of Harlaxton, c1790-1820.
