TQ 2978 NW CITY OF WESTMINSTER STILLINGTON STREET, SWl 104/8 Building on north corner of Rochester Row and Stillington Street. GV II Commercial building. Circa 1870. Yellow brick, white dressings. Roof not visible. 3 storeys plus basement. 9 windows wide to Stillington Street. Muscular Victorian Eclectic manner. Segmental-headed windows with gauged heads, white brick architraves and raised impost bands. Rustication to brickwork above ground floor windows; raised brick bands between storeys; polychrome patterns between windows. Central chimney stack. White brick corbel table and brick cornice. Return to Rochester Row with end stack and lower 3 storey 3 window wing in same style with carriage entrance.
