Details
LYDDINGTON SP 8697-8797 8/54 Barn c.50 m to NE of Lyddington Bedehouse. GV II
Small barn, now part cowshed. Mid C18. Coursed ironstone rubble, Collyweston slate roof, coped gables with moulded kneelers. Part lofted. 4 bays. SE side has cart entry, small rectangular window and large C20 shelter with segmental corrugated iron roof. Shelter is not of special interest. NE gable has loft door and high vent slit. C20 weatherboard outbuilding with rear stone wall attached to NW side is not of special interest. Interior of barn has C20 brick partition, and roof with original tie-beams, principals, butt purlins and later collars.
