House. Late C18 refronting of C17 building; later additions and alterations. Rendered timber frame clad in C18 red brick to front; slate roof. Original house of three framed bays with eaves raised and clad in brick to front in late C18. Two storeys and attic with dentilled eaves cornice; three window front, three-light C19 segmental-headed casements with late C19 gabled eaves dormers directly above. Main entrance between first and second windows from left through plain pilastered doorcase with four-panel door (top panels now glazed); similar entrance to far right. Red brick ridge stack between second and third windows from left and integral end stack to left.
INTERIOR: timber frame (square panels) exposed to original back wall on ground floor, fragmentarily to cross-wall to right of entrance and to right gable end on first floor. Single-purlin roof in three bays with collar and tie-beam trusses visible in attic. Gabled range at right-angles to rear, rebuilt late C20 is not of special architectural interest.
