Barn. C14, remodelled in C17. Weather board over timber frame; half-hipped pantile and corrugated iron roof. Aisled five -bay plan with central threshing floor. Plank double doors to lean-to porch. Interior: C14 unjowled aisle posts, with lateral bracing to arcade plates and passing braces from sole plates of aisles to aisles posts, being halved into aisle tie beams; bolted C19 knee braces inserted beneath tie beams; C17 side-purlin roof, with raking side struts, lower butt purlins and upper clasped purlins to collars. One of about 15 medieval barns in Suffolk.
