OZLEWORTH OZLEWORTH HAMLET ST 79 SE 5/146 Five Unidentified Monuments about 12m south east of porch in church- yard of Church of St Nicholas GV II
Five chest tombs set in L plan. Unidentified, probably dating from late C17 to mid C18. Limestone. All flat top with moulded capping, plinths not visible to all. Three in line from east to west with lyre ends and plain oval end panels and central additional lyre profile on both sides (except for central tomb where extra profile on south side only) and plain twin oval side panels with low reliefs. Two to east running north/south have diamond end panels, plain rectangular sides divided on north into 3, single panel to south. All partially overgrown at time of survey (April 1986) and in poor condition.
