Public house. Mid C18 and C19. Coursed rubble and dressed
stone, with slate and plain tile roofs. Ashlar dressings.
Shouldered coped gables. Single ridge and 3 gable stacks.
Double depth. 2 storeys, 4 bays wide. Irregular L-plan.
Windows are glazing bar casements. West front has to left, gable
with 2 storey canted hipped bay window. To its right, hipped
porch with 2 columns and panelled door To right again, 2
casements. Above, to left, 3 casements in bay window. North
side has to left lower 2 storey addition, C19, with 2 casements.
To its right, ashlar doorway with segmental head, mid C20. To
its right, casement with segmental head. Above, 3 casements.
South side has off-centre glazed walkway, late C20, flanked by 3
casements with segmental heads. Above, 4 casements. East gables
have door with segmental head, flanked to left by brick and stone
stair and to right by 2 casements. Above to left, door. To
right, 2 casements.
