Pair of cottages at end of row. Early C19. Ham stone roughly cut and squared; No 23 has concrete pantiles between
abutments, No 25 has clay pantiled roof with stepped coped north gable; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays in
all. Horizontal bar casements, 3-light to bay 1 and upper bay 2, 4-light lower bays 2 and 3, and 2-light to upper bay
all the lower windows having timber lintols; to the right of bay 1 a boarded door in recess having plain opening
under timber lintol. About 3 metres west of the houses, railings with spearhead rails to top and middle rails to No 23,
with urn finials to standards, no gate; to No 25 arrowhead railings, no gate: coped return stone walls at ends and
between houses; all contributory to setting of the houses and the streetscene.
