TQ 2679 NE CITY OF WESTMINSTER PRINCES GATE, SW7 85/30 (south side) 5.2.70 Nos 14 to 25 (consec). GV II Grand terrace of houses. Mid C19. H L Elmes. Stucco. Roofs not visible. End pairs set forward slightly with rusticated quoins. Five storeys plus basement. Each house three windows wide (four to No 14). Channelling to ground floor. Ionic projecting porches. Balustraded balconies to first floor. Corinthian half columns and pilasters to first floor windows; centre window pedimented. Windows square headed; mainly sashed with plate glass. Elaborate stucco work to attic. Main, rich, cornice above fifth storey (simplified to some houses). No 14 of slightly different design. Cast iron area railings.
