Semi-detached cottage. Mostly C17 with possible medieval origins. Ham stone ashlar; Welsh slate roof between coped
gables, with stone slates to bay window; one brick and one stone chimney stack. Two Storeys with attic, 2 bays.
Hollow-chamfer mullioned windows in recesses; to bay 1 4- light below, 3-light above, both with labels; to bay 2 an
angled bay window of 1+4+1 lights to both levels, and a 2-light attic window in the gable over, which has shaped
kneeler stones and a ball finial; continuous string to ground floor this bay; plain doorway to right with boarded door
in recess. Interior not seen, but reported are scroll-stop chamfered beams, a small cambered arched fireplace, and some
boxed-in timbers which may be a variety of cruck truss. About 3 metres east of house, on low stone wall, wrot iron
railings with necked points, cast urn finials to arch-braced standards, contributing to setting of the house and the
streetscene generally. (VAG Report, SRO Unpublished, 1981).
