Details

TQ 2581 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER PORCHESTER SQUARE W2 50/5 (north side) Nos 9 to 31 (consec) GV II Grand terrace of houses. Circa 1860. Stucco. Slate mansards. 4 storeys and basement. Each house 2 windows wide to south facades. End 4 houses and centre 5 set forward slightly with rusticated quoins. Channelling to ground floor. First floor continuous bombé balcony. Square headed windows, architraved, with rounded upper corners to first floor and cornices to first and second floors. Prominent keystones to ground floor windows. Dentil cornice above third floor. Parapet. Entrances to north facade, also of interest, in 2-storey projecting porches.
