Details
TQ 2880 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER PICCADILLY Wl 80/116 (north side) 24.2.58 No 105 GV II Former terraced town house. Originally late C18 by Michael Novosielsky, rebuilt on grand scale 1849-51 with alterations c. 1900. Portland ashlar, slate roof. 4 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 5 windows wide with 3 window shallow bowed centre. Rusticated ground floor with flat voussoir arched sash windows and projecting porch to right with marble clad Doric columns and flight of steps (c. 1900 alteration). Sash windows of 1st and 2nd floors articulated by a giant order of fluted Corinthian pilasters, supporting an enriched modillion entablature below attic storey with cornice and blocking course. Geometric early C19 cast iron balcony across 1st floor. Cast iron area balustrade between stone dies with stone coping.
