House, now shop and offices. Early C18 and late C18/early C19 and early C20.
Squared coursed limestone with ashlar facade, now painted, and Collyweston and
Welsh slate roofs. Originally probably 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic;
3-window range at first floor. Unhorned sash windows, with glazing bars, with
plain ashlar architraves and keyblocks. Early C20 shop front was originally a
garage showroom with 2 recessed doors and large double, part-glazed, doors to
far right. Plain ashlar parapet with raised band below. Truncated brick and
stone stacks at ends. Rear has late C18 wing, with Collyweston slate roof, part
rebuilt C20. Interior of shop has boxed ceiling beams. First floor offices have
early C19 staircase to attic, with stick balustrade. Included for group value.
