Shop with accommodation over, circa 1830. Lined render on brick or stone with grey slate roof. Rear portion is of coursed sandstone. Early C19 Jacobean style. 2 storeys and basement. To the front the main portion is rectangular with gable to road; a narrow wing has a smaller gable to road, right; the recessed rear portion projects left. Plinth, plain band at first floor, coved plaster verges and eaves with plain bargeboards. Part-glazed 3-panel shop door in chamfered Tudor archway has a 4-light canted bay window (with 1 glazing bar) to each side, under a shallow hipped roof. The upper storey has a 3-light small-pane window under a label. In right wing is a 4-panel door under plain fanlight in a chamfered Tudor arch with a 4-pane casement (in stop-chamfered opening) above. The stone rear portion has eaves less hollow than front portion, a porch in corner with Tudor lintel, a moulded parapet and 2 small-pane casements to side under labels. Interior: The basement contains an early C19 bread-oven and a slopstone.
